Now it is Imtiaz Ali's turn to be bitten by the Katrina Kaif magic. We hear his production PI films, headed by his wife Preeti; wishes to sign Katrina Kaif to play the lead.
The film is a remake of the 2009 Korean film My Girlfriend is an Agent and will be called 22 Tango.
The film will be directed by choreographer Bosco of the Bosco-Caesar fame.
Imtiaz said, "There were talks of approaching Kat. However, I am not sure what is happening on that front currently."
As for the male lead, media reports have suggested it may be Shahid Kapoor, who was the leading man of Imtiaz's Jab We Met.
