Drow Ranger basically is a ranged agility hero, whose greatest asset is damage with high attract speed. playing with drow is very simple, because with them nothing so much to do, just keep in mind it is a carry hero so never mesh with a melee hero at your own, play always as support in the starting of game, I suggest you to play in mid until you not upgrade your MARKSMANSHIP(level 6.)
you need little patience in the beginning, if you play intelligently ,I am sure you will definitely hear these sound, killing spree, mega kill, beyond the god like, RAMPAGE. that is why, I like Drow Ranger very much, i played with many hero but i have my best with Drow Ranger-25/0 + all these announcements.
But if you are noob at Dota-2 then i will suggests you to first try other ranged hero like sniper or Lina .The name “Ranger” is of English origin and it means “Forest Protector”. It’s a name commonly given to boys.
When you upgrade you marksmanship a massive amount of agility drow gains. Drow's experiences in battle improve her accuracy and effectiveness in combat, providing a passive bonus to Agility. the drow also adds ranged damage to teammates with her precision aura. despite her lack of escape spell she can keep herself safe from melee hero o spell casters using her silence and frost arrows. Frost arrows Adds a freezing effect to Drow's attacks, slowing enemy movement. Lasts 1.5 seconds on Heroes, and 7 seconds on creeps. these are the great ability she has but first upgrade your precision aura and frost arrows because silence is not much effective in the beginning of game .
In the beginning of game upgrade your precision aura with level 1,and buy wraith band and tango from your main shop. then make power trade and life steal, in mid game Shadow Blade is must for her. because this is the only way to escape.
